The LWV-GCV Membership Committee is excited to invite you to our LWV-GCV Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) kick-off event. Angie Mcilquham, from the Bridge to Hope, will be our guest speaker. The title of her interactive presentation is “Confronting Our Own Biases”.

There was much discussion at our membership meetings as to how our League might best proceed in beginning to address our commitment to ensure compliance with our DEI Policy. We agreed that doing individual introspective work was the best way to begin as we move forward to examine and strategize everything the League does is viewed through a DEI Lens.
