Voter Registration Outreach, UW-Stout Memorial Student Center

LWV-GCV Voter Registration Assistance volunteers will assist students to register to vote.

 

Volunteers will work from an information table and enlist students to register to vote. Representatives from Stout Student Association (SSA) may also join as volunteers. This event is in cooperation with the UW-Stout Student Association.

 

There are two volunteers shifts you can choose from:

  1. 11:00 am-1:30 pm or
  2. 1:30 pm-4:00 pm 

We aim for a minimum of two volunteers per shift. If a voter registration activity must be cancelled, volunteers will be notified two days prior.


Volunteers should be comfortable using a tablet or cell phone for voter registration.

Registration is not required, but to Volunteer, please click the Volunteer button at the top of the page.

Parking meters are available at Lots 27 or Lots 29 for VR at Stout.

Volunteers for the first shift should arrive on or before 11:00am for set-up and begin outreach by 11:30am when registration opens.

Volunteers for the second shift will assist student registrations until 3:30pm, and then pack up the materials.

All materials, including a Voter Registration yellow vest to be provided at the event.

Volunteers will record # of people they assist with information and # assisted to register to vote. Our contact at UW-Stout Student Association for this event is Jackson Noll, SSA, Room 118 Memorial Student Center.
