Fair Maps Legistative Public Hearing in Madison

Join the LWVWI at the Wisconsin State Capitol at 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 to make your voice heard and defend democracy. This past week, the Legislature released its proposals for congressional, senate and assembly district maps--all of which are heavily gerrymandered. Even though 72% of Wisconsin voters want a nonpartisan body to draw maps, politicians continue to make these unrepresentative maps. It's time to let your elected representative know you demand better.
