The WI Supreme Court will decide our district lines for the decade to come, as the legislature and the governor did not come to an agreement.
These districts will determine whether our votes have equal weight, and whether each of our communities will have equal access to the decision-making processes that determine funds for schools, hospitals, and other essential services that our communities need.
We are rallying to show the WI Supreme Court that we are paying attention and that we want fair maps.
- Jeff Smith, Wisconsin State Senator, introduced fair maps legislation
- Wendy Sue Johnson, plaintiff in Whitford case
- Tim Lienau, Dunn County Board Supervisor
- Annemarie McClellan, People's Maps Commissioner
- Ellen Ochs, LWV- GCV Co-president and moderator
It will be cold. We expect to be done within 45 minutes. Hot beverages and hand warmers, while supplies last, will be provided. Signs will also be available or bring your own!
Please join us to send a strong message through the media to the court!
