Voter Registration Outreach, Menomonie Farmers' Market

At this outdoor market in Menomonie’s Wilson Park, LWV-GCV Voter Registration Assistance volunteers will assist citizens to register to vote.

 

Volunteers will interact with members of the public who are coming to shop, and with vendors who are at the market to sell food and local goods.  As with any outdoor event, dress for the weather. 

 

There are two volunteers shifts you can choose from:

  1. 7:30 am-10:00 am or
  2. 10:00 am-1:00 pm 

We aim for a minimum of two volunteers per shift. If a voter registration activity must be cancelled, volunteers will be notified two days prior.


Volunteers should be comfortable using a tablet or cell phone for voter registration.

Volunteers for the first shift should arrive at 7:30am for set-up and begin outreach by 8:00am when the Farmers’ Market opens.

All materials, including a Voter Registration yellow vest to be provided at the event.
