About the Book:
In the mid-1990s, as small dairy farms vanished across the U.S. and Mexico, Midwestern farmers began hiring Mexican workers to keep their operations afloat. Milked explores the political and economic forces behind this shift, weaving together personal stories from both sides of the border—many rooted in Buffalo and Pepin Counties.
