Unite and Rise Campaign to Defend Democracy

The intention of the Unite and Rise 8.5 campaign is to defend democracy against the unconstitutional actions that are taking place at an alarming rate. We hope you will join us in this pivotal moment to protect our democracy. It is estimated that it takes 8.5 million voters to bring about change through nonviolent protest, this is a national movement.

Here in Wisconsin, LWV-GCV has joined other local Leagues in the call to Unite and Rise. We understand that many of us are already engaged in personal efforts to support our League and defend democracy.
