Volunteers will wear yellow vests and offer to assist Department of Motor Vehicles customers to update their voter registration as they are waiting in line for DMV service, or after they finish their DMV activity.
Due to the size and nature of the facility, this opportunity will best accommodate one experienced volunteer, or an experienced person with one other volunteer who would like to get oriented to working at the DMV.
Volunteers are asked to help maintain a quiet environment, as customers are conferring with DMV staff and completing online driving tests.
Each DMV Service Center has a dedicated myvote.wi.gov work station with internet access where voters may update their registration. (The DMV wireless network is not accessible for internet access on personal devices.)
All LWV-GCV volunteers are asked to abide by the Volunteer Code of Conduct on the lwv-gcv website under the "About Us" menu - Document Library - General Documents - Voting Tools.
