Voter Education and Voter Registration at Buffalo Co Jail

Volunteers will give a presentation on voting and then will assist jail residents in completing a voter registration application and if possible, an application for an absentee ballot.  Volunteer must provide name and Date of Birth to Karen Voss at karensvoss@gmail.com ASAP to allow for background check by the jail.

Carpooling will be available from the Eau Claire area.  Please let Karen Voss know if you are interested in sharing a ride to Alma.

Knowledge of voting registration and absentee ballot voting is required. To brush  up on your skills you will find training documents available on the LWV-GCV website under About Us>Documents>General Documents>Voting Tools>Voter Registration Training.  You'll also find there the LWV-GCV Volunteer Code of Conduct.
