Voter Registration Outreach, Menomonie Farmers' Market
About this event
At this outdoor market in Menomonie’s Wilson Park, LWV-GCV Voter Registration volunteers will assist citizens to register to vote, and answer questions about voting and upcoming elections. The Farmers' Market is a lively scene, with many people to engage in conversation. You may sign up for an early-morning or late-morning shift that day, or for both!
Volunteers of any experience level are welcome to sign up, but if you haven't taken the LWV-GCV voter registration training, you're encouraged to do that. If you have any questions, please contact Joan Jepsen-Burger at j.jepsenburger@gmail.com
Bring with you:
A folding chair for yourself unless you'd prefer to stand throughout your shift.
If you have an LWV-GCV yellow vest, bring it and if not, you will be provided with one to wear that day.
Clothing appropriate for the weather--we'll be outside.
When you arrive at Wilson Park, look for the table with a League of Women Voters flag located in the grassy area between the farmers' market pavilion and the band shell. We aim for a minimum of two volunteers per shift.
