About this event
Chippewa Valley Multicultural Festival Attendee Information
The 2025 Festival will be on Sunday, August 17 in Phoenix Park,
downtown Eau Claire.
Voter Registration volunteer information
The Multicultural Festival will feature a tabling event to advance the connection between the League of Women Voters of Greater Chippewa Valley with the variety of cultures within our community and others. We'll promote voter registration and membership in LWV-GCV, featuring interactive activities promoting the knowledge of citizenship and voting specific to youth and adults.
First shift volunteers will arrive at 11a.m. to help set up the display and then do outreach to the participants until 2 p.m. Second shift volunteers will arrive at 2 p.m. to do outreach and then assist with taking down the display at the end of the event.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are a first time volunteer or otherwise don't feel prepared to work on your own, you may sign up as an "observer-volunteer" so that the lead volunteer will know that you'd appreciate some mentoring as you help with this activity.
For further information, contact lead volunteers Kay Ironside (608)449-2392 or Marilyn Hagen (715) 210-0073.
