Sept 15 is National Voter Registration Day throughout the US. In celebration, LWV-GCV volunteers will be at Veterans' Memorial Park in downtown Menomonie to provide voter registration assistance. This is an outdoor activity, so dress for the weather.
There are other voter registration events planned in Menomonie on this day. See the League calendar for place and time of other volunteer opportunities. Volunteers will offer assistance with voter registration with students and other community members passing by.
This event is at Veterans' Park, 512 Crescent Street, Menomonie, across the street from the Water Front Bar, 3:45-6:45pm.
Choose from two shifts, or sign up for both!
First shift will be 3:45 to 5:00 p.m. and the second from 5:00 to 6:45 p.m.
If this is your first volunteer experience with voter registration or if you'd like some additional mentoring with this activity, consider signing up for one of the "Observer/Trainee" slots.
