Voter Registration Volunteer Information to sign-up and assist
Volunteers will work from a table along the festival street, to assist in voter registration, answer questions about voting in the upcoming election, and promote membership in LWV-GCV.
This is a lively street festival in the heart of downtown Eau Claire which brings thousands of visitors to enjoy food, music, exhibits, and cultural entertainment. This is an outdoor event, so please dress as needed for sun, wind, rain. Wearing a mask is optional, except in case you are talking with a visitor who is masked, so please bring one with you.
The specific location for our table is to be confirmed; volunteers will be provided with specific location when it's available. Parking will be free that day in downtown Eau Claire municipal ramps.
We aim for a minimum of two volunteers per shift. If a voter registration activity must be cancelled, volunteers will be notified two days prior, or if an outdoor event must be cancelled due to bad weather, volunteers will be notified by phone on the morning of the event.
Voter Registration shifts to chose from start at 9:00am and end at 5:30pm. Click the Volunteer button in the upper right to view and/or sign up for a shift.
Volunteers should be comfortable using a tablet or cell phone for voter registration.
For further information, contact lead volunteer Kay Ironside, (608) 449-2392.
