LAS Follow-up Event: Presentation on U.S. Immigration Law and Asylum Seeking

Sponsored by students in Latin American and Latinx Studies (LAS) of UWEC

As a follow-up to the keynote dinner on Oct. 18, LAS will have John Breslin, a retired immigration lawyer who works in immigration advocacy, presenting on the history of U.S. immigration law as well as on the experiences of current asylum seekers.

Also, some current asylum seekers may join in person or virtually to speak about their experiences, as well as some of the panel speakers from the Oct. 18th Keynote event (John Rosenow, Shaun Duvall, Mercedes Falk) 

The event is being held in the Centennial Hall, Room 2614 on the UWEC campus.
