At this indoor event at the Mabel Tainter Theater in downtown Menomonie LWV-GCV volunteers will offer citizens information about voting and assist them to register to vote. Volunteers will interact with members of the public who are attending LWV-GCV's event Civility in the Public Arena. The event will feature presenters Tim Nordin, City of Eau Claire School Board; and Courtney Juelich, UW-Stout Assistant Professor of Political Science. The formal program begins at 6:30 p.m.
We aim for a minimum of two volunteers per shift. If a voter registration activity must be cancelled, volunteers will be notified two days prior.
Volunteers should be comfortable using a tablet or cell phone for voter registration.
