Member Recruitment and Voter Outreach at a CVLR class

LWV-GCV volunteers will recruit new members and offer voter information and registration at the Chippewa Valley Learning in Retirement class, "Are Your Family Relationships Becoming Casualties of Our Toxic Political Environment?".

LWV-GCV volunteers will work from a table and invite people to join the League and offer voter information and voter registration.  This is an indoor event.

Volunteers should be trained in voter registration, but this is also an opportunity for less experienced volunteers.  If you're new to voter outreach you are welcome to sign up, and please also contact Marilyn Hagen, the lead volunteer for this event to let her know if you'd like to be paired with a more experienced volunteer.

For those needing another training or refresher on assisting citizens to register using the http://myvote.wi.gov/ website, please review these training materials before your volunteer shift:

 - Training Guide: Voter Registration in Wisconsin
 - Tutorial for the Wisconsin Online Voter Registration System
 - Voter Registration Flowchart

These materials are located in the Document Library in our website, in this location: Voter Registration Training
