LWV-GCV will host its first-ever Meet Your Local Candidates event, with dozens of candidates and (we hope!) hundreds of voters talking with each other in a mixer-style format. It's all hands on deck for LWV-GCV member-volunteers! Volunteers are needed for room set-up, hospitality, greeting voters and assisting them to identify their wards and districts, checking in and hosting candidates, staffing an LWV-GCV membership and voter registration table, and assisting with take-down at the end of the night. There is no special training requirement. It will be fun and a great opportunity to meet your fellow members. The public event is from 6:00 to 7:30, and volunteers will be asked to arrive by 5:00 p.m. for a brief volunteer orientation.
