WHYSfest-- an outdoor music festival in Eau Claire sponsored by community radio station WHYS featuring six musical acts with Wisconsin roots, and family activities
LWV-GCV volunteers will work from a table or wear yellow vests and walk around the event to encourage attendees to register to vote and to answer questions about voting. Volunteers will receive complimentary admission to the event if you are signed up in advance. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the restaurant's outdoor menu. Please dress for the weather at this outdoor event. First shift volunteers will arrive at 9:30 a.m. to set up and second shift volunteers will pack up as the event ends at 6:30. PLEASE NOTE if you are a first time volunteer or otherwise don't feel prepared to work on your own, you may sign up as an "observer-volunteer" so that the lead volunteer will know that you'd appreciate some mentoring as you help with this activity.
